Support Options

I am a certified postpartum doula, certified lactation educator and a birth doula offering several different options for support:

Birth Doula

We will meet prenatally 1-2 times to discuss your wishes and preferences for your birth as well as to talk about what a typical birth will be like and what sort of things you can expect.  I will be available by phone, e-mail or text support whenever you need and will be on-call for two weeks before your due date until after your baby arrives.  Once you feel you are in labour we will stay in contact and mutually decide when extra support is needed.  I will join you at home or in the hospital to offer any support you need and will then stay with you for approximately 1-2 hours after the birth of your baby.

Birth Doula and Breastfeeding Support

All birth doula services are included plus 10 hours of breastfeeding support to be used within the first 2 weeks.  Breastfeeding support commences after the birth and continues in hospital and at home.
