About me...

I live in Calgary, Alberta.  I have two daughters that mean the world to me. For as long as I can remember I have had a love of babies and children and a respect for and awe of new parents.   I love to watch families grow and interact.

I spent many years working with an oil company in Calgary.  When I had my second child I chose to become a stay at home mom.  I spent several years at home with my two girls and in 2003 started working from home with my own business.

Once my babies had grown up I felt that I needed something more.  In October 2009 I attended a conference entitled "Breastfeeding and Bonding" and knew that I had found my passion.  I attended the DONA postpartum doula workshop shortly after that and began working as a postpartum doula in 2009. I’ve had the honor of supporting over 700 families since then. I specialize in working with families of multiples and have worked with many twins as well as triplets.  I also love to work with families with one baby.  I can’t think of a better job for me and feel so fortunate to do what I do.

My goal as a doula is to provide quiet nurturing and support for you - whether that be prenatally, after baby arrives or when you are learning the breastfeeding dance with your baby/babies.  

I am a DONA trained and certified postpartum doula as well as a certified Lactation Educator.  I continuously take courses and attend workshops on childbirth, babies, breastfeeding and mental health.  As well, my lending library continues to grow with books on these topics.

I have received both doses of the COVID vaccine.
