BABY 101

Preparing for the arrival of a baby can be exciting and wonderful and completely overwhelming.

​What does my new baby need/want/know?
How will I feed/bathe/change/soothe my baby?
​What do I expect of my partner/my family/myself?

Classes are currently being held privately in the comfort of your home following social distancing protocols. In an information-packed 3.5-4 hour class, I will help prepare you for life with your new baby/babies. I have been a doula in Calgary for over 12 years and have worked with hundreds of families in that time. I will share my knowledge and expertise as you navigate this new world.  You will leave with solid information about:

Handling Expectations
How to Plan for Life with Baby
Preparing the Home
What You Need
Understanding your Newborn

As well, you will have the opportunity for
hands-on learning, including:

Diapering
Bathing
Swaddling
Soothing
Feeding
